Snowflake irises

Disencouraged

By the North Star

That ruthless parents have instilled

Goal driven, I’m embarrassed

Yet, as I’m told to

‘Simmer down’

Your show inanimate

As any star-

Cold

Distant

No grip just slip

Bottomless pit

My second heart

Tried by the loose ends

The shiny dots

Beating on the skin

Galloping wind onto silent wisdom

Night moon glisten

Forever draped over our sea

In plain sight, lossless
